Position
Tanka Village is located in the south east coast of Sardinia, 1 km away from the touristic village of Villasimius and almost 50 km away from Cagliari city centre. Tanka Village is immersed in a green area facing one of the most beautiful bay of the South Sardinia, with a white and thin sandy beach between the famous Isola dei Cavoli and Isola di Serpentara, now a protected marine area.  

Hotel
Tanka Village extends on a surface of 43 hectars and is one of the biggest resorts of the whole Mediterranean area, as it can hosts almost 3.000 guests. The resort is built in front of the sea and both the apartments and the bungalows are surrounded by the typical Mediterranean bushes and trees. Public areas, on the central area of the Resort, are joined together by several walkways, bicycle paths and footbridges, where cars are forbidden, which lead to the Tanka private beach, only 50 metres from the rooms and the services. The reception hall is in the central area, between the arrival/departure area and the rooms. Absence of architectural barrier.
Guests might choose between two different reservation formulas: Formula Club & Formula Hotel (Club Card included).

Rooms
Formula Hotel: Domus Standard, Domus Junior Suite, Dimora Superior.
Domus type are located on two-floors buildings with lift, in the central area of the Resort and almost 400 m. away from the beach. Private reception and reserved cafè for breakfast. Standard rooms are set on the second floor with terrace overlooking the garden. They can host 3 adults and a cot.
Junior suite rooms are set on the ground/first floor and are made up of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with balcony or patio. They can host up to 4 people.
Dimora superior are two-rooms apartments set in two-floors buildings with lift on the miniclub area and only 300 m. away from the beach. They are made of an entrance (with air conditioning), a living room, a double room with two bathrooms and a terrace. They can host up to 5 people.
Formula Club: Casbah standard & superior, Bungalows Monte Garden; Dimora Standard.
Casbah standard are bungalows on the central area of the resort, 200/400 m. away from the beach. They are set on the ground/first floor and are made of a wide bedroom and a living area. They can host 3 people and a cot.
Casbah Superior are 1-room bungalows set on the ground/first floor in the heart of the complex; they are made of a large room and a living area. They can host 3 people and a cot. Guests have a private area for breakfast and dinner.
Monte Garden are 1-room bungalows set on the hilly area of the complex, so 600/800 m. away from the beach. They are made of a large room and a living area. They can host 3 people and a cot.
Dimora standard are 2-rooms apartments in a two-floors buildings with lift. They are made of an entrance (with air conditioning), a living room, a double room with two bathrooms and a terrace. They can host 4 people at least and a cot.
Apartments and bungalows are equipped with air conditioning, bathroom with shower and hair-dryer, telephone, TV SAT, fridge and safe.
Cots (camp beds): on request, for babies up to 3 years old. Rooms for disables on request.

Restaurants
Oasys is the largest restaurant of the village; it is located nearby the beach and has an outdoor and a indoor room. It is a buffet restaurant with national and international dishes.
Il Mirto and Terrazza del Mirto are in front of the swimming pool. They are buffet restaurants with national and international dishes. Open for dinner only for Domus and Dimora superior guests.
Cucciolo is the kids restaurant. Available for children up to 4 years old; kids under 2 years old must be attended by a parent.
Stella di mare is a à la carte fish restaurant nearby the beach. During the highest season, the restaurant opens the two rooms only for dinner: Ristorante Sardo with buffet service and Ristorante Grill with à la carte meat and fish. Reservation required for both and upon payment.
Pizzeria Coyote: located in the central area of the hotel nearby the swimming pool, it serves pizza, starters, fruit and desserts. Open only for dinner; reservation required.

The new golf course of Tanka Golf Club is the latest news from the prestigious AtaHotels Tanka Village, designed by Luigi Rota Cameroli. Its perfect location and the shape of the course allow you to enjoy the scenic beauty of the bay of Villasimius. Players can enjoy a unique and fascinating landscape although concentration, technique and precision are necessary conditions to face the difficulties of the path. The 40 hectares of the 18 holes course are joined with a practice range with 12 stations, plus a large area of natural grass.
